Local charity Engage has successfully been awarded an AFE Big Lottery grant to develop and grow its services. We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced person in the field of community development and voluntary sector engagement. You would be liaising with local community groups, volunteers and stakeholders with a view to starting up new services for older people in four rural villages within a 10 – 15 mile radius of Hadlow Down.
Term: 16 hours per week – flexible hours Contract: This is a self-employed contract for 9 months (there is a possibility of an extension if the project is successful) with a 3-month trial period
Salary: £20 per hour
Location: The position is home-based preferably in the Wealden area of East Sussex
