Well, think we had a bit of Mexican fun as the photos of our moustachio’d attendees demonstrate! Bashing the Pinãta was a game that seemed new to many but that didn’t stop them giving good old thwacks to the colourful sweet-and-confetti-filled donkey ( poor donkey). Members who weren’t blindfolded seem to do rather better than team members who had to wear a mask for their go!!
We had Mexican Mariachi Music to shake maracas and move to, plus our very own Mexican accordionist, El Marco de Dury, who played beautifully. And talking of local colour, who can spot the sinister bandit in the photos, El Davido The Dangerous Bandito??!! ( straight off the set of Breaking Bad!!).
As per usual our chef Brenda created a brilliant lunch of Chicken Tacos with Mexican potatoes and a delicious chocolate torte plus mint choc chip ice-cream for dessert
