- We provide lively and friendly social clubs to older people in the Wealden area (not just TN22!)
- We are run by the local charity ENGAge
- We hold the clubs in the village hall in Hadlow Down on a Wednesday.
- We rely on a large team of volunteers to work alongside our professional staff.
- We are able to collect members from their homes if needed.
Clubs
Which club suits you?
TN22 Club
Our TN22 Club is a social lunch club for older folk and we offer a packed day with companionship and fun. Entertainment, activities and occasional outings ensure that a good time is had by all. We also cook a 2-course nutritious and tasty lunch in the club kitchen. We positively encourage new members and if you are hesitant about coming along, you will be assured of a warm welcome.
TN22 Plus Club
We provide a day of activities, fun, companionship and good food. We have a high ratio of staff and volunteers to members, with the emphasis on enjoyment and laughter. We ensure members have a positive experience with us and this also supports their relative/carer to have a break to do something they want to do.
Travelling Teatrays
Travelling Tea Trays supports older people to go out and socialise and to make new friends in their area.
Tea and cake with others in your neighbourhood who also enjoy companionship and good conversation.
We also hold a number of coffee mornings in private homes in Hadlow Down, Broad Oak and Buxted
Volunteer
Volunteering with TN22 Clubs
Our clubs rely on volunteers to make them happen. We are always looking for new volunteers to help out or drive members to and from the clubs. If you are interested, please click on the volunteers tab to find out more
